lies a boy
with no hair
and see-through eyes
that are closed to this world.
Nothing like the dream-
of himself in this painting
with the girl
who cant decide
if she is coming or going.
still blank-
void in some spots
bare of the images
to make is whole.
But happy!
It's still happy!
With his eyes closed hes happy,
question is
will he still be content
when he opens them?
