Story of Their Odyssey

A purple grey pearl resembles the ashes of bone.

Inside the sea, caves crumble.

She is one diver who swims to clouds inventively;

he hates land even when he treads the water.

The other fish swarm regularly.

When the waves cap, dolphins

glide under their surface.

Her scuba gear is a bubble; his has fins.

Atlantic ocean swells around their mouths.

The bottom of his tank, the seal of her mask

are not priority near the bay.

Her goggles mix with violet mist.

Like a octopus, he clutches his oxygen,

while they swim the one current that doesn’t exist.
