...Again, And Again, And...

I'm choking

on this allergy medicine,

trying to get it down.

Two advil are next in line

and a pepsi for the caffeine.

To pretend I'm being healthy

I'll eat a multivitamin

which I know will make me nauseous,

so in the car

on my way to work

I'll munch on a granola bar.

Perhaps it's not the pill

I'm choking on.

It could be the tedium.
